Angel Reese is feeling grateful. The Chicago Sky‘s All-Star forward may not be certain as to where she will play basketball in 2026, but Reese on Friday took a moment via social media to reflect on her journey to superstardom.

Amid the looming possibility of a work stoppage as the WNBA’s collective bargaining agreement nears its expiration date, Reese has expressed dissatisfaction with the Sky franchise for its inability to put together a winning team around her. Reese, a two-time All-Star who has won two rebounding titles in as many WNBA seasons, is not used to losing, and she has moved on for the good of her career before; upon transferring to LSU before the 2022/23 NCAA season, Reese led the Tigers to a national championship over Caitlin Clark’s Iowa Hawkeyes.
While Reese mulls whether to push on in Chicago or request a trade from the franchise, she took to X to summarize her path as a globally-known figure.
