Angel Reese Posts Bizarre Message After Victoria’s Secret Runway Show

by

Although the 2025 WNBA season is over, Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky made history on Wednesday night.

Reese, the No. 7 overall pick from the 2024 WNBA Draft, became the first professional athlete to walk in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. She wore a pink floral lingerie set that left plenty of her fans speechless.

“It was destined for me,” Reese said prior to the show, via The Associated Press. “This is already for me. I’m so happy to be sitting in this room with so many amazing models and women. The team that put this all together has been amazing. I’m so excited.”

Roughly 12 hours after wrapping up her debut in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, the former LSU star posted a head-scratching message on social media.

“I don’t work jobs,” Reese wrote on X. “I AM THE JOB.”

We’re not sure what Reese meant by this, but she clearly has the WNBA world’s attention with this post.

Could Angel be on the move?

Reese had another All-Star season with the Sky, averaging 14.7 points and 12.6 rebounds per game. Unfortunately, she was unable to reach the playoffs yet again.

Before the Sky’s season came to an end, Reese made it clear that she wants a better supporting cast.

“I’m not settling for the same s–t we did this year,” Reese told the Chicago Tribune. “We have to get good players. We have to get great players. That’s a nonnegotiable for me. I’m willing and wanting to play with the best. And however I can help to get the best here, that’s what I’m going to do this offseason to make sure we attract the best of the best, because we can’t settle for what we have this year.”

The Sky should make drastic changes to their roster in the coming months. If they’re not willing to do so, Reese could request a trade.

For now though, Reese is living her best life off the court.
