Anthony Kim is a golfer who surprised many when he returned to the golf scene a few years ago, joining LIV Golf. After going through serious mental challenges, admitting to dealing with anxiety and depression, Anthony Kim gathered his strength and returned to his greatest love; golf.
The 40-year-old golfer was not so dominant in LIV, which is best illustrated by his relegation this year. However, the seasoned golfer still has faith and hope that he can return to LIV through a LIV Promotions event that will take place next year.
In addition, the famous golfer will play on the Asian Tour International Series.
Speaking to the media, Kim was open about his plans for the future, revealing how long he wants to play golf. However, he admits that the greatest focus is on his family, wanting to spend as much time as possible with them and that he will carefully consider his schedule in the coming year.
“This is something I am looking forward to and yes, regardless, I am going to play for a few more years.
"I do not know how long I want to play golf for, but this is something I am committed to. I am motivated to play as good as I can, work as hard as I can, and the results will speak for themselves.
I am going to play some events (on the International Series and Asian Tour), but it is a long way over here. So, as much as I want to compete, you know, part of my comeback to golf is being with my family. And it is a lot of trouble for the family, so we will pick some events to play.”- he said, as quoted by Golf Monthly.
Kim's future
Kim emphasizes that he has improved in various aspects of the game and is working hard day in and day out. He believes in his comeback, noting that he can make big strides in the coming months and years.
