by

The Archery Premier League completed the second round-robin phase in Delhi on Saturday 11 October, setting up the semifinals and finals on 12 October and a climax to the inaugural edition.

On the day, the Rajputana Royals booked only their second loss of the competition against the Chero Archers, losing 5-3. Nevertheless, they remain very much on the top of the table with eight wins and two losses.

The Mighty Marathas were guaranteed second spot going into the last day, but took the win against the bottom-ranked Kakatiya Knights, 6-2.

Mike Schloesser, one of the two internationals on the Marathas team said this: “I think we performed very very well, this was one of our best matches so far. It’s perfect timing, really.”

The Chola Chiefs, already eliminated, booked a 6-0 bagel win against the Prithviraaj Yodhas in a dead rubber match to close out the day.
