Argentina Rugby Fixtures 2026 – Americas Rugby News

Argentina has ten rugby fixtures scheduled for 2026. The test matches will be a combination of Nations Championship games, a home series and a friendly. The first six of the confirmed matches will all be played in Argentina.

Los Pumas will open 2026 with three home matches in July. Felipe Contepomi’s team will play host to Scotland on July 04 in Santiago del Estero. It will be followed by home matches against Wales in San Juan and England in Córdoba.

The second phase of 2026 for Los Pumas will be a home test match against South Africa in Buenos Aires in August. The match has been organized in place of the Rugby Championship which will not take place at all in 2026 due to South Africa and New Zealand having agreed to play each other exclusively rather than continue with the annual Rugby Championship tournament this year.

After playing host to the Springboks at Vélez Sarsfield, Los Pumas will turn their attention to the Wallabies. Argentina will play host to Australia in Jujuy and Mendoza in a two match series. The matches will be played on August 29 and September 05. Jujuy has previously hosted Argentina vs Georgia and Scotland. The Wallabies will thus become the first Southern Hemisphere team to play there.

Los Pumas will end 2026 with four matches in Europe. The games will be for the Nations Championship and will start in Dublin against Ireland in November. Los Pumas will also face Italy and France before learning their opponent for the finals weekend in London in the final weekend of November.
