The Arizona Cardinals are slowly filling their coaching staff.
After hiring Nathaniel Hackett to be the new offensive coordinator, in name not necessarily in what he is being asked to do, they have now also hired a running backs coach in Matt Merritt.
Merritt was with the CFP runner-up University of Miami Hurricanes the past two seasons, helping their running back room average 151.8 yards per game and helped junior running back Mark Fletcher Jr. to rush for 1192 yards and 12 touchdowns.
