Arizona State-UNLV women’s basketball live game updates

The Arizona State women’s basketball team (4-0) is hosting its biggest test of the season so far with UNLV (2-2) at Desert Financial Arena on Nov. 22.

The Lady Rebels have lost their last two games, including a 62-54 loss to Big 12 member Baylor. Under head coach Lindy La Rocque, UNLV has become a respectable program where losing streaks are rare.

ASU forward McKinna Brackens transferred following two seasons at UNLV. The junior broke out against Santa Clara on Nov. 16, scoring 23 points in the 82-77 win.

ASU struggles in opening quarter

Arizona State women’s basketball trails UNLV, 12-7, after the first quarter.

The Sun Devils committed five turnovers in the quarter and were outscored 9-2 by the Lady Rebels to finish the quarter. ASU struggled offensively, shooting 18.8% (3 of 16), while allowing five field goals on 14 attempts from UNLV.

McKinna Brackens’ three points and four rebounds lead ASU.
