The Virginia football program suffered a heartbreaking 27-20 overtime loss to Duke in the ACC Championship game on Saturday. Eli Wood had a heroic, last-minute 18-yard touchdown to send the game into overtime. But, after Duke’s successful drive into the end zone to start OT, Chandler Morris threw an interception on a trick play attempt for the ‘Hoos to end the game.

Meanwhile, Virginia basketball guard Jacari White hit 9-for-9 from the field and 7-for-7 from beyond the arc against Dayton University on Saturday, powering the ‘Hoos to an 86-73 road win in Charlotte. Still, Virginia struggled with fouls and sloppy play, turning the ball over 21 times.
