Swerve Strickland made his triumphant return at AEW Full Gear 2025, debuting a new entrance theme and now the artist behind the theme song has been revealed.
Swerve Strickland’s new entrance theme was composed by none other than legendary rapper Raekwon The Chef, who’s one of the founding members of Wu-Tang Clan. The beats and the lyrics are reminiscent of Raekwon’s best works and it makes sense why the song fits Swerve so well.
Swerve Strickland returned at the end of AEW Full Gear after Samoa Joe ended up defeating Adam Page to win the AEW World Championship. Strickland saved Page from the Opps as he absolutely brutalized every single member of the Opps dojo. He and Page would then stand side by side as fans cheered them on to close the show.
With Raekwon’s track playing behind him and him forming an alliance with Adam Page, Swerve Strickland’s return has immediately changed the main event scene in AEW. So now it remains to be seen whether Strickland will end up dethroning Samoa Joe to become the AEW World Champion again, as fans feel that’s definitely the direction going forward.
