Auburn football adds All-Sun Belt defensive line transfer Cody Sigler

AUBURN — Arkansas State defensive line transfer Cody Sigler is signing with Auburn football, a source confirmed to the Montgomery Advertiser on Thursday, Jan. 8, giving Alex Golesh and his staff their becoming the 14th addition of the transfer portal window.

Sigler spent just one season with the Red Wolves, but he made the most of it, recording 35 tackles, 7 tackles for loss, 6 pass deflections and 5 sacks, which secured him All-Sun Belt Conference honors.

The New Hope, Alabama, spent the first three seasons of college career at Division II West Alabama. With the Tigers, Sigler parlayed a productive 2024 into his Division I opportunity. He mustered 34 tackles, 11 tackles for loss and 6 sacks in his final season with West Alabama.
