Another Auburn standout is getting an opportunity to impress scouts with one of the marquee college football all-star games. On Tuesday, Auburn offensive lineman Dillon Wade accepted an invite for the East-West Shrine Bowl.

The East-West Shrine Bowl is regarded as the second best college all-star game after the Senior Bowl. The game will be played on Tuesday Jan. 27 in Frisco, Texas. The coaches and rosters have not been announced yet for the game. It will be a great opportunity for Wade to show NFL scouts why he have the potential to be a professional. Wade had the opportunity to enter the NFL Draft after last season but decided to return to Auburn for his final year in college football.

Wade began his college career at Tulsa before transferring to Auburn in 2023. When he arrived in Auburn it was a much need addition for the Tigers. Offensive line has been a position where the Tigers have not received consistent play. He started all 12 games this season for the Tigers at the left guard position. In 2024, Wade made the transition from tackle to guard during his second season with the Tigers. During his first season with Auburn in 2023 he played in all 12 games, making 11 starts.

Wade joins other Tigers who are playing in college all-star games. Tight end Brandon Frazier will be playing in the Hula Bowl. For the Senior Bowl, offensive lineman Jeremiah Wright and linebacker Keyron Crawford will be featured in the marquee college all-star game.
