Auburn women’s basketball is on a two-game losing streak after dropping two games to Oregon and Syracuse. However, the Tigers continue to receive attention in the latest USA TODAY Coaches Poll.
Auburn received one vote in the poll released Tuesday, joining programs such as Oregon, Nebraska, and Texas Tech on the outside of the top 25. It marks the first time this season that the Tigers earned a vote in the coaches’ poll.

Auburn is one of 11 SEC teams to be included in this week’s poll. Texas is 10-0 and is the highest-ranked team from the conference at No. 2. Following the Longhorns in the top 10 is South Carolina at No. 3, LSU at No. 5, and Oklahoma at No. 9. Vanderbilt checks in at No. 13, followed by Kentucky at No. 15, Ole Miss at No. 16, Tennessee at No. 18, and Alabama wraps up the top 25 at No. 25. Georgia joins Auburn by receiving votes.
