Aussie Jamie Jack Appears on Social Kick Podcast; Provding Aussie Sprint Corps with a Boost
The latest episode of the Social Kick Podcast featured an interview with Australian sprinter Jamie Jack, whose summer performances in the 50-meter freestyle have sparked intrigue. While Cam McEvoy is the undisputed king of the 50 freestyle, having won back-to-back gold medals in the event at the 2024 Olympic Games and 2025 World Championships, Jack has significantly elevated his status.
During his appearance on the Social Kick Podcast, where he was interviewed by hosts Luke Paddington and Bryan Lundquist, Jack discussed his development in the 50 freestyle. At the recent TYR Summer Championships in Southern California, Jack won the 50 freestyle in 21.63, but improved that time with a 21.43 clocking in a time trial at the William Woollett Aquatic Center.
Jack is the brother of Shayna Jack, an Aussie sprint star who has excelled for years on the international stage. During his Social Kick interview, which can be found below, the 22-year-old elaborated on his training under coach Dean Boxall at St. Peters Western and went into detail about the training – in and out of the pool – that has led him to his sprint breakthroughs.
The Social Kick Podcast features regular, in-depth interviews with some of the premier athletes in the sport.
