The Ball State women won the annual Dan Ross Indiana Intercollegiates on Saturday at Purdue University.
In the women’s meet, Ball State won with 584.5 points. Purdue was second with 583, followed y IU Indianapolis (252.5), UIndy (167), Butler (165), Southern Indiana (129), Evansville (101), Valparaiso (83), Indiana Wesleyan (64) and Rose-Hulman (46).
Ball State’s Lauren Fecher, Addie Beasley, Anna Keen and Payton Kelly won the 200 medley relay in 1:41.26. Kelly won the 100 free (49.18), 50 free in 22.52. Keen, Kelly, Haley Sakbun and Kiley Zoeller won the 200 free relay in 1:32.70. Keen won the 100 IM (55.90) and 100 breaststroke (1:03.21). Aubrey Simmons won the 100 fly (56.17).
Purdue’s Lara Phipps won the 200 freestyle in 1:49.63. Abby Marcukaitis won he 100 backstroke in 54.52. Purdue’s Daryn Wright won 1-meter diving with 311.65 points and 3-meter with 352.55 points.
In the men’s meet, Purdue won with 518 points, finishing ahead of IU Indianapolis (500), Ball State (396.5), UIndy (262.5), Valpariaso (130), Southern Indiana (107), Evansville (99), Wabash (60), Indiana Wesleyan (58) and Rose-Hulman (54).
Purdue’s Zach Welsh won 3-meter diving with 384.20 points. Max Miller won 1-meter with 375.00 points. Brody LePine won the 100 IM (50.82). Alex Hotta won the 100 back (48.13).
Indy’s Grayson Tidwell, Logan Kelly, Hugo Arteaga and Keaton Barwick won the 200 medley relay in 1:28.71. Elias Noe won the 50 free in 20.63 and 100 fly in 47.20. Kelly won the 100 breast (53.21).
Ball State’s George Patterson won the 200 free in 1:38.09. Jacob Siewers won the 100 free (44.79). Benjamin Clarkston, Siewers, Patterson and AJ Friend won the 200 free relay in 1:21.90.
