Baltimore, Maryland has secured hosting rights to a test match between the New Zealand All Blacks and South Africa Springboks in 2026. The contest will be the fourth, and final, test match between the two iconic teams as part of their test series taking place this year.
Dubbed as Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry tour, the Springboks will have home advantage in South Africa against the New Zealand All Blacks for the first, second and third matches. The fourth, in Baltimore, Maryland, will be the only match in a different country.
The home venue of NFL’s Baltimore Ravens will play host to the All Blacks vs Springboks test match on Saturday, September 12. The M&T Bank Stadium will be a new stateside venue for both teams.
Recent appearances in the USA include New Zealand vs Ireland in Chicago, Illinois and New Zealand vs Fiji in San Diego, California. South Africa played a test match against the USA Eagles in Houston, Texas in 2001 and faced Wales in Washington DC in 2018.
