Herrera (strained left hamstring) joined Triple-A Memphis for a rehab assignment on July 10. He is not scheduled to catch for Memphis, nor do the Cardinals plan to put him behind the plate for any significant action for the remainder of the 2025 season as they look to protect the slugger’s lower body while keeping his bat in the lineup.

Manoah (right UCL surgery) and Varsho (left hamstring strain) are expected to begin rehab assignments in the Florida Complex League on July 14.

Lowe was placed on the 10-day IL on July 11, retroactive to July 8, due to left oblique tightness. The Rays are hopeful he can return as soon as he is eligible.

Moreno (right hand contusion) is still experiencing pain from the hairline fracture he sustained in early June and is now expected to return sometime in late July.

Wilson left the July 8 game against the Braves with a left hand contusion after being hit by a pitch. X-rays came back negative. He was out of the lineup through July 11 but was expected to be available off the bench.

Blake Snell and Michael Kopech, Dodgers

Snell (left shoulder inflammation) threw 31 pitches in his first rehab start with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga on July 10 and will make his next appearance in the Arizona Complex League on July 15.

Meyers was placed on the 10-day IL on July 11 with a right calf strain.

Jake Fraley and Wade Miley, Reds

Fraley (right shoulder strain) reported no issues through his first three rehab games with Triple-A Louisville and is expected to be activated on or around July 12.

Miley (left flexor strain) has resumed playing catch as of July 10.

Zach Eflin, Cade Povich and Maverick Handley, Orioles

Eflin (lower back strain) is scheduled for a rehab start with Triple-A Norfolk July 13.

Povich (left hip inflammation) is also scheduled for a rehab assignment on July 13, either with Double-A Chesapeake or High-A Aberdeen.

Handley (concussion) is not expected to resume swinging a bat until after the All-Star break.

Nestor Cortes and Blake Perkins, Brewers

Cortes (left elbow flexor strain) will likely need one or two more rehab starts after the All-Star break before returning.

Perkins (right shin fracture, left groin strain) resumed a rehab assignment with Triple-A Nashville on July 11.

Jesse Winker and Sean Manaea, Mets

Manaea (right oblique strain, left elbow discomfort) is scheduled to pitch in the Mets’ final game before the All-Star break on July 13, either as a starter or piggybacking in relief of Clay Holmes.

Michael King and Joe Musgrove, Padres

After approximately a month of rest and light catch, King (right shoulder/long thoracic nerve injury) began ramping up and threw his first formal bullpen session on July 10.

Musgrove (Tommy John surgery) played catch off the mound on July 10.

Tyler Mahle, Jon Gray and Joc Pederson, Rangers

Mahle (right rotator cuff strain) is expected to begin throwing next week per a July 10 update.

Manager Bruce Bochy said July 10 that Pederson (right hand fracture) is still 2-3 weeks from taking regular batting practice.

Clarke Schmidt and Luis Gil, Yankees

Schmidt was scheduled to undergo Tommy John surgery on July 11.

Gil (right lat strain) threw 42 pitches in live BP with Double-A Somerset on July 8. He could begin a Minor League rehab assignment on July 13.

Carpenter (right hamstring strain) is progressing well and will head to Florida during the All-Star break to continue rehab and begin facing live pitching.

Nola (right ankle sprain, stress fracture in right rib) threw a 30-pitch bullpen session on July 9 in Clearwater, Fla. He will throw another bullpen on July 12.
