Belal Muhammad already has his next competitive assignment, but it’s not MMA.
Joining the growing trend of UFC and MMA notables doing crossovers with Real American Freestyle wrestling. Muhammad will compete at RAF 4 on Dec. 20 at Fishers Event Center in Fishers, Ind., as he faces David Carr for the promotion’s welterweight title. The event streams on Fox Nation.

Carr, 26, is a U20 world champion and a two-time NCAA champion who competed for Iowa State University. In 2024, Carr received the Bob Bowlsby Award, given to the Big 12’s top performer on and off the field/mats.
Muhammad, 37, is just days removed from his UFC Fight Night 265 loss to Ian Machado Garry on Nov. 22. The defeat was his second in a row.
RAF 4 will be headlined by NCAA heavyweight wrestling champion Wyatt Hendrickson as he defends his title against University of Michigan’s Mason Parris. No other MMA notables have been announced for this card yet, though RAF 3 on Sunday features the likes of Michael Chandler, Chad Mendes, Joaquin Buckley, Clay Guida, Darrion Caldwell, Jordan Oliver, Bella Mir, and Pat Downey.
