Benoit Saint Denis put an end to a two-fight skid in his most recent outing.
Back in May, Saint Denis took on newcomer Kyle Prepolec on short notice, as his original opponent, Joel Alvarez, had to withdraw from the bout due to injury. Saint Denis was coming off back-to-back stoppage losses against Dustin Poirier and Renato Moicano. He was much in need of a win. The Frenchman took no chances and pressured Prepolec, using his wrestling to get the fight to the ground and secure an arm-triangle choke in Round 2.
You can watch Saint Denis’ strong bounce-back win in the video above.
Saint Denis (14-3 MMA, 6-3 UFC) returns to the cage this Saturday in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 258 at Accor Arena in Paris. He takes on Brazil’s Mauricio Ruffy (12-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC) in a three-round lightweight bout.
