Bananas are slightly radioactive.
That’s because they contain potassium, and a small fraction of naturally occurring potassium is the isotope potassium-40, which is radioactive. Don’t worry though—the radiation from a banana is tiny, and you’d need to eat millions at once for it to be harmful.

Brad Tavares will try to break Michael Bisping’s record for most UFC wins in the Middleweight division (both are tied at 19) when he takes on a retiring Eryk Anders … at the Apex.
This Past Week in MMA History:
UFC Busan – Dec. 21, 2019
UFC has only been to Busan, South Korea once but it was a good one as local hero Korean Zombie knocked out Frankie Edgar in the main event — it was one of his last wins in the promotion.
In the “Featured fight”, Charles Jourdain stopped Choi Doo-ho, who took a long break after the loss.
On the prelims, Alexandre Pantoja slept Matt Schnell.
UFC 92: The Ultimate 2008 – Dec. 27, 2008
UFC 92 was the first time that two winners of The Ultimate Fighter competed in a title fight against each other. Rashad Evans knocked out Forrest Griffin to become UFC Light Heavyweight champion.
In the co-main event, Frank Mir became the first fighter to finish Big Nog and did so for the interim Heavyweight title, which set up the UFC 100 main event against Brock Lesnar.
Also on the card, Rampage Jackson exacted his revenge against Wanderlei Silva, knocking him unconscious in the first round.
UFC 168: Weidman vs. Silva 2 – Dec. 28, 2013
Ah yes, one of the most iconic and horrific injuries in UFC history — Anderson Silva snapped his leg in his rematch against Chris Weidman … and was never the same in MMA ever again.
In the co-main event, Ronda Rousey tapped Miesha Tate in their rematch.
In the “Featured fight,” Travis Browne knocked out Josh Barnett in one minute with nasty elbows.
Finally, Dustin Poirier knocked out Diego Brandao to kick off the main card.
