Sunday’s Week 12 NFL slate wraps up with a matchup of division leaders, as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers visit the Los Angeles Rams on “Sunday Night Football.”
The Rams are riding a five-game winning streak behind the stellar play of MVP favorite Matthew Stafford (+150), while the Buccaneers have lost two straight and three of their last four.
The two teams haven’t met in the regular season since 2022, back when Tom Brady was playing quarterback for the Buccaneers.
The Rams are touchdown favorites Thursday and the total points over/under (49.5) is tied for the highest of the week.
Matt Bowen, Liz Loza and Pamela Maldonado offer their picks, prop plays and analysis to help you bet the game.

Game bets
Rams -1.5 (-110) first quarter
Maldonado: The Rams are the best opening script team in the league, and this matchup only amplifies that. The Rams own a plus-43 first-quarter scoring margin, having scored first in six of their wins. Matthew Stafford‘s under-center and play-action efficiency hits Tampa Bay’s exact defensive weakness, especially with CB Jamel Dean banged up. The Bucs are a bottom-tier first-quarter team with a negative-25 margin, slow offensive starts that Todd Bowles never fixes early. The Rams consistently come out with speed, formation variation and early shot plays, while the Bucs absorb pressure and settle late. Everything favors Los Angeles jumping ahead quickly.

Field Yates: Matthew Stafford is a fantasy must-start in Week 12
Field Yates explains why Matthew Stafford is a top-12 fantasy option and a must-start in Week 12.
Kyren Williams rush attempts OVER 14.5 (-105)
Bowen: Williams is averaging 15.3 carries per game this season, and I would expect the Rams to operate out of three tight end sets to create daylight versus the Tampa Bay run front. Williams sees steady volume in this one.
Davante Adams receiving yards OVER 59.5 (-120), Puka Nacua receiving yards OVER 89.5 (-115)
Loza: The Rams got the win versus Seattle in Week 11, but the offensive performance was middling from a statistical point of view. I think the Rams return to their explosive ways in a softer matchup versus Tampa Bay this go around. Adams has posted at least 60 receiving yards in two of his last three games. That’s doable against a Bucs secondary that has not only allowed the eighth-most receiving yards to outside receivers (1,146), but will also be without CB Jamel Dean. In addition, Tampa Bay has given up the fourth-most yards after the catch (1,322). You know who’s really good after the catch? Puka Nacua. In fact, he ranks third at the position in YAC. I’ll take the over on both receivers in what’s projected to be a high-scoring affair (49.5).
