After an emphatic 91-80 at No. 7 Purdue on Tuesday night, Dusty May and the Michigan Wolverines will take on another top-10 team this weekend on Saturday night. The neutral site game with the No. 3 Duke Blue Devils — and a very possible future Final Four/National Championship preview — in Washington D.C. is slated to start at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN.
There have been some great matchups in college hoops this week — the aforementioned Michigan at Purdue game, No. 3 Houston vs No. 5 Iowa State, No. 4 Arizona vs No. 23 BYU, and even No. 2 Houston vs No. 4 Arizona on Saturday afternoon — but this one takes the cake and is yet another giant test for this Michigan team in a season filled to the brim with challenging opponents each and every week.

The Vegas betting odds have been released for Saturday’s matchup, and if it’s any indication, we should be in for one hell of a game. According to DraftKings Sportsbook, Michigan is currently favored by 2.5 points, with the over/under set at 148.5 points. The bets are pretty even up to this point, with 52 percent of the bets riding with the Blue Devils.
Duke (24-2 overall, 13-1 ACC), is in first place in the ACC, with its two overall losses coming by a combined four points. The Blue Devils’ last loss came a couple weeks back when they were upset at North Carolina, 71-68. Their first loss of the year came way back on Dec. 20 in a neutral site game at Madison Square Garden against Texas Tech, 82-81.
Meanwhile, the Wolverines have been on an absolute tear since their lone loss of the season against Wisconsin. Michigan has won 10 straight games, with three of them coming against AP top-10 opponents (No. 5 Nebraska, No. 7 Michigan State, No. 7 Purdue). Nine of their 10 wins since the Wisconsin game have been by double digits.
What do you think happens in this game? Does Michigan win/cover the spread? Does Duke keep it close and cover, or even pull off the upset? Let me know what you think, and why, down in the comments below!
