Betting odds shift in favor of Oregon Ducks ahead of Oklahoma State game

by

The Oregon Ducks are back at Autzen Stadium later today as they look to go 2-0 on the season with a win over the Oklahoma State Cowboys. After posting nearly 60 points last week, it will be hard to replicate that offensive production, but bettors are predicting a similarly lopsided score nonetheless.

The betting line remains Ducks -27.5, but the moneyline has leaped up to -7000 with the over/under dropping three entire points to 55.5 on Fan Duel Sportsbook. With how well Oregon executed its game plan last week, it’s no surprise that people are expecting another rout this week.

Not everything went perfectly, but with each additional week of bonding, this fairly new roster should experience much more cohesion and faith in each other. The Cowboys are a much tougher opponent than the Ducks faced last week, but it’s safe to say they didn’t come remotely close to unleashing their full arsenal.

After a notable dispute between head coaches Dan Lanning and Mike Gundy, it would make sense if we saw more creativity from Oregon’s offense and a defense with more fire. We know the Ducks are an incredibly tough team, so they’re fully expected to silence the noise surrounding them this week.
