Several players from the ICC T20 World Cup squad for Australia are part of the Perth Scorchers, a team that includes Mitchell Marsh, Josh Inglis, and Cooper Connolly. The Scorchers won their sixth title with 6 wickets in hand.
Perth Scorchers defeat Sydney Sixers for a record 4th time in a BBL final
In a massive new record, the Perth Scorchers surpassed the record number of wins of the Mumbai Indians and the Chennai Super Kings to win a T20 competition for the sixth time. The Scorchers, alongside the Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings, had formerly won it five times.
Having played 9 finals in the history of the BBL, they have an amazing conversion rate and have gone on to defeat the Sydney Sixers for a record four times out of the six times they have won the Big Bash League title.
