As the 2025-26 women’s college basketball begins, Big Ten Network analyst Meghan McKeown named Iowa Hawkeyes‘ senior forward Hannah Stuelke as one of her top 20 returners in the conference.
As part of McKeown’s list, Stuelke ranked fourth, only behind UCLA‘s Lauren Betts and Kiki Rice and Maryland’s Kaylene Smikle.

For Stuelke, she is entering her final year with the program, where she has already been named a preseason All-Big Ten Team selection.
In her analysis of Stuelke, McKeown highlighted Stuelke’s versatility and the matchup problems Stuelke presents as the reasoning for her No. 4 spot on the list.
“At No. 4, Iowa’s Hannah Stuelke. Hard to believe she’s finally in her senior year. Hannah Stuelke continues to be one of the hardest matchups in the Big Ten because of her physicality, her motor, and her ability to play on the perimeter.” – Meghan McKeown, Big Ten Network
The Cedar Rapids, Iowa, native is Iowa’s top returning scorer and rebounder. Stuelke averaged 12.7 points and 7.7 rebounds per game during the 2024-25 campaign.
With the Hawkeyes looking to climb back up the ranks of the Big Ten this season, Stuelke will undoubtedly be a major factor in how successful that venture may be in Iowa City.
