MILWAUKEE — The Dodgers announced that left-hander Blake Snell will start Game 1 of the NL Championship Series against the Brewers. The series begins on Monday night at American Family Field.
Shohei Ohtani was also lined up to potentially start Game 1, but the Dodgers prefer to pitch the two-way superstar in front of an off-day when possible. He is likely to start Game 2, although the team has yet to announce the rotation for the rest of the series.
Snell has looked excellent in two starts this postseason, striking out 18 against five walks and allowing just two runs across 13 innings.
