Bo Nickal would like to settle things with Colby Covington in the octagon — but doesn’t believe Covington would take the fight.
During Friday’s RAF 5 press conference, Covington — along with fellow RAF 5 headliner Luke Rockhold — blasted Nickal, who was sitting just feet away from the stage. Despite Nickal trying to clap back without a microphone, the two former UFC titleholders gave Nickal the business following the Penn State wrestling standout’s loss to Reinier de Ridder at UFC Des Moines this past May. While Rockhold explained his side of things, Nickal can’t face him in the UFC. However, he could face Covington since their both on the roster, and nothing would please him more.
“I’d love to fight Colby but I seriously doubt he would fight me,“ Nickal wrote on Twitter. ”We weigh the same so let’s do it at the White House.“

Nickal, who is slated to face Yoel Romero in the co-main event of Saturday’s RAF 5 wrestling card, bounced back from his lone UFC loss to de Ridder with an impressive head kick knockout of Rodolfo Vieria at UFC 322 in November.
Covington hasn’t competed in the UFC in well over a year, where he was stopped by Joaquin Buckley after stepping in on short notice in the main event of UFC Tampa in December 2024.
