Bo Nickal‘s disdain for Colby Covington is a real thing and he wants to dispose of the former interim UFC champion, who he labels as a “fraud.”
Nickal (8-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) and Covington (17-5 MMA, 12-5 UFC) got into a verbal spat at a press conference prior to RAF 05 on Saturday, and the words have continued since.

Covington has said he’s not interested in a UFC showdown or one on the wrestling mats with RAF, but Nickal doubled down on his pursuit of the fight on Monday.
“At the end of the day, I think that guy’s a bum,” Nickal told “The Ariel Helwani Show” of Covington. “He’s an idiot. I would love to get in the cage with him and for me, that fight would be personal. Every single fight for me up to this point has been for sport. This one would be a little different because I would love to just cave that guy’s head in. I think he’s an idiot.”
Nickal said he is authentically proud of his American roots and does not think Covington is genuine in his patriotism. Both men have had relationships with Donald Trump over the years, but Nickal thinks he has the sway to get the matchup made at the planned UFC White House event in June, despite any resistance from Covington.
If it happens, Nickal said he would end “Chaos” once and for all.

“I think we can do it for the UFC in June and I can just rip that guy apart and send him packing and end his career,” Nickal said. “That’s what I’m looking forward to doing. Never in a million years do I think he would be wrestling, but as far as fighting, I don’t think the UFC is super happy with him, so there’s a chance they’ll just make him fight me.”
