Entering the 2025 season, just getting to six wins looked to be the goal for Arizona, and the oddsmakers set 5.5 wins as the over/under for the Wildcats. But after starting 3-0 for the first time since 2015, projections are changing.
Instead of predicting if Arizona can make a bowl game, attention has shifted to which bowl the Wildcats could be playing in.

All major college football outlets have the UA projected to go bowling this winter, each assuming it will win at least three of the remaining nine games on the schedule. Some assume a higher victory total based on the bowl game projected.
The most likely destination for Arizona appears to be El Paso for the Sun Bowl, where it has appeared three times but not since 1982 when it lost to Baylor. That’s also one of the closest bowl destinations for Wildcat fans, a mere 300-mile drive southeast on Interstate 10 from Tucson.
Drivable trips to Las Vegas, Los Angeles and San Diego are also possible based on early projections.
