The 2025 Indiana Mr. Basketball Braylon Mullins will be out six weeks due to an ankle injury he suffered in practice this week, the UConn program announced Friday. The 6-6, 196-pound wing is likely to miss BYU, Arizona, Illinois and Kansas.
Mullins, the No. 15 recruit on the 247 Composite ranking, led Greenfield-Central to a 23-4 record, averaging 32.9 points, 7.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 3.7 steals per game, shooting better than 47% on 3s.

Mullins was named the 2025-26 Preseason Big East Freshman of the Year. He’s the third consecutive UConn player to earn the honor, joining Stephon Castle and Liam McNeeley.
