After months of a heated back and forth, Brendan Allen and Marvin Vettori finally got to settle their differences this past summer.
In July at UFC 318, the two middleweights collided in a grudge match that had the attention of the MMA world. Allen and Vettori has previously talked trash to each other online, and had infamously gotten into a brawl at the casino floor of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla., months prior to their fight. When they finally met in the cage, the two delivered the Fight of the Night for UFC 318 with Allen getting his hand raised in the end. It was a non-stop action bout that got Allen to bounce back from a two-fight losing skid.
You can watch Allen’s win over Vettori in the video above.
Allen (25-7 MMA, 13-4 UFC) returns to the cage Saturday at UFC Fight Night 262 (ESPN+) at Rogers Arena in Vancouver. He replaced an injured Anthony Hernandez on short notice to take on top contender and former ONE Championship two-division titleholder Reinier de Ridder (21-2 MMA, 4-0 UFC) in the main event.
