Briana Stewart Avoids Major Leg Injury After Undergoing MRI

An MRI revealed that Briana Stewart avoided a significant injury after hurting her leg on Saturday night.

Stewart suffered the injury less than four minutes into a 101-99 loss to the Los Angeles Sparks.

Stewart, who is listed as out for Monday night’s game against the Dallas Wings, will travel with the Liberty on an upcoming four-game road trip. 

Stewart is averaging 19 points, 6.8 rebounds and 4.0 assists on the season.
