Brittney Griner wants to remain relevant with her fans, especially amid the WNBA offseason. With the league still negotiating a new collective bargaining agreement with the players union and a lockout looming, stars such as Griner need to make their own moves outside the WNBA.

Griner is playing in Unrivaled, an independent 3-on-3 league founded by WNBA stars Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart. Griner is part of Vinyl Basketball Club alongside other WNBA stars, including Dearica Hamby, Courtney Williams and Rhyne Howard, to name a few.

Griner also started uploading shorts, which have amassed thousands of views. As of writing, the channel has over 1,100 subscribers.
