Brittney Griner’s Wife Catches Eyes With Her Outfit in Atlanta Dream Game originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
Brittney Griner and the Atlanta Dream made history on Friday night as they took on the Seattle Storm in the first-ever WNBA regular-season game played outside of the United States. These two teams battled it out at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, with the Storm edging out the Dream in a tight one, 80-78.
Griner came off the bench for the Dream to register 10 points on 5-of-8 shooting, to go along with three rebounds and three blocks in 16 minutes of action. It wasn’t enough for Atlanta, though, as they saw their six-game winning streak come to an abrupt end.
Griner, though, had her No. 1 fan cheering her on for Friday’s historic game. Her wife, Cherelle Griner, flew to Vancouver to catch the contest and to show her support for her better half.
Cherelle Griner came to the game wearing a light blue and white button-down shirt, which was styled casually by knotting it at the waist. She paired her top with high-waisted, wide-leg cargo pants in a dark washed tone. For her shoes, the 33-year-old lawyer went with dark pointed-toe heels. Her Louis Vuitton denim handbag with decorative charms stood out of her smart casual meets streetwear-inspired vibe.
