Bronson Reed Reveals Who Pitched His Pairing With Paul Heyman and Bron Breakker

by

Bronson Reed didn’t just stumble into one of WWE’s most intriguing alliances—he was handpicked for it, and the pitch came straight from Triple H.

During a recent interview on Unlikely, Reed opened up about how he found himself aligned with Paul Heyman and Bron Breakker. While many fans assumed it was part of a long-term plan, Reed revealed it was actually a very quick decision made behind the scenes. Reed explained that Triple H personally reassured him during injury recovery that he wouldn’t be forgotten—and he kept that promise:

“Yeah, correct. It was a very last second thing that I had found out about.”

“I know Triple H had said, ‘Hey, you just recover, when you come back, things are going to be good. You’re going to be good.’”

For Reed, the opportunity to work with Paul Heyman wasn’t just exciting—it was a dream come true rooted in his childhood:

“I’ve always had a big fandom for Paul Heyman before I was even in WWE. I was a huge ECW fan growing up. So that was sort of my bread and butter. And then when I got to WWE behind the scenes, Mr. Heyman’s always been really cool with me and he’s helped me with like promos and stuff. So it was sort of fitting once I found out that, no—he’s actually going to be your manager on-screen as well. I was like, okay, this marriage works perfectly. I always wanted to work with Paul Heyman.”

The faction originally included Seth Rollins, but according to Reed, that part wasn’t expected:

“I did not expect Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker. So to have those things happen is great. Me and Seth are great opponents. We ended up being good teammates—but now he’s back on the opposite side. We kicked him out of the group.”

What surprised Reed the most was the real-life friendship that formed between him and Breakker:

“I think the biggest thing from that group is just that me and Bron Breakker have had such a tight friendship now from being on the road for these past six months together that I never would have expected. Until now that, you know, I’m not only working but I’m pretty much best friends with Rick Steiner’s kid.”

Bronson Reed’s current faction may have formed fast, but it’s built on trust from Triple H, mentorship from Paul Heyman, and a strong bond with Bron Breakker. That foundation could make this group a real force heading into WrestleMania season.

Do you think Triple H made the right call by putting Reed with Heyman and Breakker? Could this group dominate WWE by year’s end? Sound off in the comments—we’re listening.
