The July 18 episode of WWE SmackDown took place at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas, delivering a memorable night of action. Jacob Fatu was around, and it was all gas, no brakes for him.
Jacob Fatu recently made his return to WWE television with a bull’s eye on Solo Sikoa. SmackDown started out with the MFTs in a car wreck, and then things took a big turn throughout the night.
Jacob Fatu was detained by police and questioned. This led to a big showdown later on in the night. Then Adam Pearce came out to announce that Fatu will take on Solo for the WWE United States Title at SummerSlam. That’s not all, because the match has a big stipulation.
The entire theme of tonight’s confrontation was locking up Jacob Fatu, as Solo Sikoa told them that Jacob was behind their car wreck. In the end, they booked a cage match for Solo versus Fatu. Only time will tell what happens in SummerSlam, but it will be a big night.
SummerSlam is set to go down at MetLife Stadium on August 2 and 3. This will be a historic event as the first-ever two-night SummerSlam premium live event. We will have full coverage here at Ringside News.
