The Indiana Fever probably ensured that Caitlin Clark’s 24th birthday is one she won’t forget.

At Gainbridge Fieldhouse, where she got in some reps on her birthday, Clark stepped off the practice court and was greeted with a surprise serenade — not to mention, a cookie cake baked in the shape of “22.”

“I got my germs everywhere,” Clark joked as she blew out her candles.
The gesture reinforces Clark’s importance to the Fever franchise, which has stood by the superstar guard after her injury-plagued 2025 season.
Clark played only 13 games in her second WNBA season, right after she was named the league’s Rookie of the Year and placed fourth in MVP voting while ending the Fever’s eight-year playoff drought in 2024.

Though the Fever made a surprise run to the WNBA semifinals without the injured Clark, Sophie Cunningham and others in 2025, Indiana cannot wait to get a healthy Clark back on the court for the coming season.
As she turns 24, Clark stands to compete for a WNBA championship and make her USA Basketball debut in 2026, when she could merit selection to the national team for the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup in September.
