Indiana has been playing without Caitlin Clark for a majority of the season. She’s played 13 games this season, having dealt with various injuries in her second season in the WNBA.

While they were already thin in the backcourt with one of the best guards in the WNBA ruled out, the Fever made an unfortunate announcement.

During their latest matchup against the Phoenix Mercury, Aari McDonald and Sydney Colson both suffered season-ending injuries.

McDonald has a broken bone in her right foot and Colson has a left ACL tear. Both served as vital pieces to the Fever lineup while Clark has been out.

She’s been Caitlin Clark’s replacement in the lineup, serving as the team’s leading facilitator, playing alongside Aliyah Boston, Kelsey Mitchell, Lexie Hull and Natasha Howard in the starting lineup.
