The Indiana Fever players were hyped after their 93-78 win over the Chicago Sky at United Center on Sunday, and rightfully so. After all, this was Indiana’s second straight win and its third victory against Chicago this season.

Caitlin Clark sat this one out again as the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year continues to recover from a lingering right groin injury. The 23-year-old, however, joined her teammates in their postgame celebrations after their dominant performance against their biggest rivals.

Caitlin Clark Had One Word After Fever Win

The cameras caught Clark’s one-word reaction as she made her way back to the locker room after Sunday’s statement victory.

“Dubski,” she said, holding up a W sign with both her hands.

Unfortunately, there is no timetable for Clark’s return to action as the Fever prioritizes her long-term health. She will likely sit out a couple more games, at the very least, before she’s able to return to action.

Angel Reese Also Out of Commission for Sky

The Sky came into Sunday’s contest extremely shorthanded. Angel Reese sat out for a second consecutive game due to a back injury, joining Ariel Atkins, Moriah Jefferson and Hailey Van Lith on the injury list. Chicago was also without their starting point guard, Courtney Vandersloot, who underwent season-ending ACL surgery in June.

Reese’s injury does not seem as concerning as that of Clark’s, though, as the former LSU star continues to be day-to-day with her back issue. Reese’s next chance to suit up will be on Tuesday against the Washington Mystics as the Sky looks to improve on its 7-18 record.
