Carlos Alcaraz will not chase his first Paris Masters crown. World no. 1 suffered the second-round loss to Cameron Norrie, falling 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 in two hours and 22 minutes to hit the exit door.

The Briton outplayed the six-time Major winner behind the first serve and saved four of five break points. The Spaniard lost 38% of the points in his games and suffered two breaks from seven chances offered to his rival.
