Can Indiana men’s basketball keep scoring on cold shooting nights?

Indiana men’s basketball has built itself on the 3-point shot in year one under head coach Darian DeVries. It’s led to masterful offensive outings in the Hoosiers’ first three games, but caused problems in the latest outing.

The Hoosiers, who hadn’t scored under 90 points in a game prior to Sunday night, had to hold off an upset attempt by Incarnate Word at Assembly Hall in an ugly 69-61 win after shooting just over 20% from long range. It wasn’t entirely unexpected, but it brought up some old concerns with the program’s recent history in early season buy games.
