After a strong performance hosting the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday, the Celtics followed up that blowout win with a 109-108 squeaker over the 76ers in the City of Brotherly Love.
Jaylen Brown continued his strong start to the 2025-2026 season with 32 points on 13-of-19 shooting (4-of-7 from behind the arc) and six assists. Anfernee Simons scored 19 off the bench with Derrick White and Payton Pritchard chipping in 15 each.
Boston raced out to a 24-point lead in the second quarter with Joe Mazzulla going ten-deep into his rotation. Philly cut the lead to 11 at halftime and tied the game in the middle of the 3rd, but strong offensive rebounding and a frantic defense to close out the game earned the Celtics a win and squared their record at 3-3.
The Celtics wrap up a back-to-back at TD Garden tomorrow night, hosting Kevin Durant and the new look Rockets at 8 pm EST.
