Prostate Cancer UK has announced Charles Tyrwhitt as the headline sponsor of its golf programme for 2026, marking the charity’s first dedicated sponsorship focused solely on its golf activity.

The partnership brings together the leading men’s health charity and the British menswear brand to support fundraising and awareness across the sport, including the charity’s community golf programme and The Big Golf Race, the UK’s biggest golf fundraising challenge.

Supporting awareness and research through golf

Prostate Cancer UK’s golf initiatives play a key role in raising awareness of the disease and generating funds for vital research, including the TRANSFORM trial.

The study aims to find the most effective way to screen men for prostate cancer, with the potential to save thousands of lives each year.

As part of the partnership, Charles Tyrwhitt will help amplify the charity’s message across instore displays, its website, customer emails and social channels.

The brand’s Performance range, designed for both the course and the clubhouse, will form part of the wider campaign to bring prostate cancer awareness into everyday customer touchpoints.

Fundraising and flagship events

Fundraising will be driven through the sale of Prostate Cancer UK’s Man of Men badges, including an exclusive magnetic version, alongside Charles Tyrwhitt’s involvement in hundreds of supporter led events.

These include the charity’s end of season golf championships across the Southeast, Midlands and Yorkshire.

Charles Tyrwhitt will also serve as headline sponsor of The Big Golf Race, which has raised more than £6 million since 2020, and will feature prominently across the key moments of the 2026 campaign.

Chris Jarrett, Director of Fundraising at Prostate Cancer UK, said the partnership marked an important milestone for the charity’s work in golf.

He said the support would help reach more men with lifesaving health messages and fund research aimed at a future where no man dies of prostate cancer.

Joe Irons, Chief Marketing Officer at Charles Tyrwhitt, added that the charity’s mission strongly resonates with the brand and its customers.

He described golf as a natural fit for the partnership and said the company was proud to support the 2026 programme.
