Star forward Angel Reese was the lone representative for Chicago in the All-Star Game. Reese averaged 14.0 points, 12.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game through the first half of the season to earn this honor for the second year in a row.
Last week, however, Reese sat out the Sky’s final game before the break against the Atlanta Dream with an undisclosed leg injury.

Reese did play in Saturday’s All-Star Game, scoring six points and grabbing nine rebounds for Team Collier in their 151 to 131 win over Team Clark. However, her status for the Sky’s game against the Minnesota Lynx on Tuesday was unclear.

On Monday, however, Sky reporter Karli Bell released the team’s injury report for the upcoming game against the Lynx, and Reese was not listed. This means she will be available for the matchup against Minnesota.
Bell did note that veteran guard Ariel Atkins and forward Michaela Onyenwere would miss the game after suffering injuries against the Dream.
“Chicago Sky Status Report,” Bell wrote. “Ariel Atkins (leg) is OUT. Michaela Onyenwere (knee) is OUT.”

Reese has played in 21 of 22 games for the Sky this season. She has recorded 15 double-doubles in 2025 and is currently riding a streak of nine such games into Tuesday’s matchup with the Lynx.
Tuesday’s game will tip off at 8:00 p.m. ET at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
