After dropping a 22-point, 13-rebound double-double in the Chicago Sky’s last game—a 103-86 blowout loss to the Washington Mystics on Tuesday—Angel Reese is back on the sidelines again for Friday’s matchup against the Golden State Valkyries.

The two-time All-Star was ruled out for Friday’s game due to a back injury, which is the same issue that forced her to sit out two consecutive games prior to the Mystics matchup. It remains to be seen at this point if Reese will be able to suit up on Sunday against the Phoenix Mercury.

The good news for Sky fans is that despite the team’s decision to rule Reese out for the Valkyries game, they will get a bit of a boost on the Sevgi Uzun front.

According to Sky beat reporter Karli Bell, head coach Tyler Marsh confirmed before the game that Uzun, who signed with Chicago on Monday, will be making her debut against Golden State. Marsh also said that fans “can expect to see a lot of minutes from her tonight.”
