Angel Reese has put together another highly productive campaign during her second WNBA season. She leads the Sky in total points, rebounds and assists. Her 12.5 rebounds per game average is the best in the league.
Unfortunately, Reese is nearing a suspension from the WNBA because she has seven technical fouls (via ESPN).

The WNBA has a rule that players are automatically suspended for one game without pay when they receive their eighth technical of the season (via CBS Sports). Given Reese is one technical foul away from this threshold, she is nearing a suspension from the WNBA.

Sky coach Tyler Marsh told the media on Saturday that the franchise is working with the league in a bid to get a some of Reese’s technical fouls rescinded.
“We’ve done our work on our side to try to get a couple of those rescinded in the moment and beyond, and that’s up to the league’s discretion,” Marsh said. “I think, across the board, it’s part of the entertainment of the game. It’s hard to control the passion in the heat of the moment.”
The Sky play their next game on Sunday against the Indiana Fever at 3 p.m. ET at the United Center in Chicago.

Reese has missed two of the Sky’s last three games with injuries to her leg and back, and she is day-to-day, according to Marsh. Star Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark currently has no timetable for her return as she deals with a groin injury.
