Chicago Sky star Angel Reese is one of the most impactful WNBA players today, and that extends beyond the basketball court.
After being drafted seventh overall in the 2024 WNBA Draft, Reese quickly made a name for herself as one of the brightest young stars in the league. Not only did she become a two-time All-Star in as many seasons, but she also established herself as a double-double machine.

In her rookie year, Reese set a new record for the longest double-double streak with 15 games, breaking Candace Parker’s record of 12. She also recorded the most double-doubles in a player’s first two seasons with 49, surpassing Tina Charles’ mark of 45.
Reese has career averages of 14.1 points, 12.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.4 steals per game.

Beyond her performance on the court, though, Reese hasn’t forgotten to give back to the community. Through her Angel C. Reese Foundation, she’s able to make a difference off the court as well.

According to its website, the foundation’s “main objective is to ensure equal opportunities for all girls in sports, education, financial literacy, and other areas where girls have been historically overlooked.”
In recent months, Reese’s foundation has conducted a back-to-school bash and gave away free backpacks for Chicago kids, as well as raised funds through the “Mebounds” merchandise to help fight cyberbullying.
Sure enough, the foundation hasn’t stopped there. More recently, the Angel C. Reese Foundation helped another charitable organization, the 53 Families Foundation, in its toy drive. In fact, the Sky star’s foundation was the “top gifter” for the initiative.

“A huge THANK YOU to the Angel C. Reese Foundation for being our biggest donor for this year’s 53 Families Foundation Holiday Toy Drive!” wrote Keisha McClain, wife of the founder of 53 Families Foundation and former NFL player Jameer McClain.
“Your generosity ensured that our toy needs are fully covered and we are truly grateful.”
Reese continues to thrive in her professional life. Aside from her booming WNBA career, she has also ventured into fashion and entertainment as a model and actress. She’s also hosting her own podcast, while being a business owner and investor.

Amid all her commitments and busy schedule, though, Reese has shown that she’s not letting them prevent her from uplifting others.
