Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark and Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese are the biggest names in women’s basketball today, so much so that even two Kansas City Chiefs players have them as their favorite female athletes.

In a recent video by the Chiefs, the team asked its players for their favorite female athletes. While many players chose Serena Williams, two Kansas City rookies picked the WNBA stars.
Josh Simmons, Major Williams Show Love for Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese
Chiefs rookie offensive tackle Josh Simmons was shown walking with fellow OT Ethan Driskell as they answered the question. Both players were in agreement that Clark is their female athlete of choice.

“Caitlin Clark,” Driskell said as Simmons nodded in agreement.
Simmons is the Chiefs’ first-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, selected 32nd overall.
Later in the video, Chiefs undrafted rookie Major Williams responded with Reese’s name when asked the same question. It didn’t take long for him to provide his answer and even shouted Reese’s name after he got out of the camera’s frame.
“I got to say Angel Reese,” Williams said while pointing to the camera.

It’s not surprising why the two Chiefs youngsters have a great appreciation for both Clark and Reese. Over the past couple of years, they have been making headlines, thanks to their incredible play and impact in college and on the WNBA.
Since their arrival in the WNBA, fans have taken a huge interest in their rivalry. In fact, when Clark and Reese played each other as the Fever and Sky met in the season opener, the battle drew 2.7 million viewers on ABC. It remains the most-watched WNBA game on the platform, be it the regular season or playoffs, per Front Office Sports.
