Chris Jericho’s Name Hasn’t Been Brought Up in WWE Creative Amid Return Rumors

by

Chris Jericho’s future in pro wrestling has become a big talking point, with many believing he could return to WWE. However, despite the speculation, it seems his name has not been mentioned in any WWE Creative discussions so far.

According to Fightful Select, WWE sources have stated that Chris Jericho’s name has not been brought up in the creative process. If any conversations about him have happened internally, they were not within that department.

Some talent have been speculating about a possible return, and higher-ups confirm that Jericho is still on good terms with WWE. However, one source described the situation as “too early to tell,” since the company isn’t certain what Jericho’s status will be in the coming months.

“WWE sources spoken to said that Chris Jericho’s name hasn’t come up whatsoever around the creative process, so if conversations have happened regarding him internally, it wasn’t in that department.

There are certainly talent who have been speculating about his potential return, and higher ups say that Jericho remains on good terms with WWE.

One source in the company called the situation far too early to tell, because WWE doesn’t seem sure what Jericho’s status will be in the coming months.”

This comes after we have previously reported that many in WWE believe that Chris Jericho returning to WWE is inevitable, as his AEW contract is set to expire in December this year.

Chris Jericho even admitted that he would consider returning to WWE one day, as he didn’t really want to leave anything off the table in the future. He even created speculation after liking a post about returning to WWE as well, but it’s clear WWE has no plans for him just yet. Therefore, we’ll have to see whether Jericho will remain with AEW or join WWE once his AEW contract expires this year.

Do you think Chris Jericho should finish his career in AEW, or should he return to WWE for one final run? Sound off in the comments.
