Braves ace Chris Sale is back after he was reinstated from the injured list on Saturday. To make room for Sale, Atlanta optioned right-hander Nathan Wiles to Triple-A Gwinnett after Friday’s game.
Sale has not pitched since June 18 after going down with a fractured left rib. In his latest rehab outing with Gwinnett on Aug. 23, the lefty threw 4 2/3 innings, allowing one run on four hits.
