Clemson basketball landed its first player in the 2026 class with the commitment of four-star center Will Stevens on Oct. 11.
The 6-foot-10, 200-pound big from Davidson Day School in Davidson, North Carolina, is rated as the No. 3 player in the state and the No. 141 player nationally by the 247Sports composite rankings.

Stevens, who visited Clemson in August, chose the Tigers over Vanderbilt and announced his decision on CBS Sports college basketball Instagram page.. He averaged 12 points, 6.8 rebounds, two assists and two blocks in his junior season.
Steven’s commitment comes after Brownell received a contract extension from Clemson this offseason.
After losing key contributors from last season’s team, Clemson added six transfer portal players and signed four high school recruits this season in hopes of making the NCAA tournament for the third straight season.
